BOOKINGS FOR SCHOOLS

A FUN ICE-SKATING OUTING WITH THE WHOLE CLASS

Come to Winters Delft for a fun school or class outing at our new location, X at TU Delft. This year too we have special prices for schools.

When?
We have reserved special time slots for schools from 9 to 13 December, both dates included, and from 16 to 20 December, both dates included. On each of those days, we have reserved 1.5-hour slots for schools. Every slot can be booked for a maximum of 200 children. Out-of-school care groups and day-care centres can book during regular opening hours.

Rates
Our special entrance ticket incl. a drink is €4.50. Skate rental is €2.50 per pair and can be paid on site with payment cards only. You can bring your own skates too, but speed skates and clap skates are not allowed.

Bookings
You can only book through our online booking system, which shows you the available time slots. Once you have booked, you can pay via iDEAL and you will receive an e-mail acknowledgement.

BOOKINGS FOR OUT-OF-SCHOOL CARE GROUPS AND DAY CARE CENTRES

Out-of-school care groups and day-care centres
Keen to book an ice-skating session for your out-of-school care group or day-care centre? Simply use our online booking system. We have special entrance and skate rental prices for out-of-school care groups and day-care centres. You can bring your own skates too, but speed skates and clap skates [AM1] are not allowed.

The entrance ticket for out-of-school care groups and day-care centres is €3.50 per person. Skate rental is €4,00 per pair and can be paid on site with payment cards only.

You must pay the entrance ticket online with iDEAL in advance. The skate rental can be settled on site with a payment card. Book via this link.

Frequently asked questions

  • Yes, gloves are obligatory on the ice-skating rink. Have you forgotten yours or do you not have any at all? No worries, we sell gloves for €3.50 a pair.

  • At Winters Delft we only accept payment cards.

  • No, we do not charge any deposit.

  • At Winters Delft we have penguins and polar bears as skating aids. You can use them free of charge, but availability is limited.

  • Yes, you can bring your own skates, but speed skates and clap skates are not allowed at Winters Delft. If you don’t have any skates, don’t worry, you can rent a pair from us!

  • You cannot step onto the rink with your shoes, so if you would like to help your child, you will need to buy a ticket and wear you skates too.

  • This year, Winters Delft will be held at a new location, X at the TU Delft campus along Mekelweg. From Rotterdam or Den Haag: take exit 17 along the A13 (Delft-Zuid). Follow the signs ‘TU Delft’ and take the first exit on the motorway.

  • When visiting Winters Delft, you can use the car park at The Green Village.

  • Yes, we have an unattended bicycle shed.

  • From the Delft Central railway station, you can reach X (formerly Sport & Cultuur) with the following buses:

    • Bus 40: alight at ‘TU – Sport en Cultuur’.
    • Bus 69: alight at ‘TU – Sport en Cultuur’.

  • Yes, we have reserved special time slots for schools:

    Week 50: Monday 10 December to Friday 14 December, both dates included

    Week 51: Monday 17 December to Friday 21 December, both dates included

    We have three time slots of 1.5 hours each for schools on each day. Every slot can be booked for a maximum of 200 children. You can book through our online booking system.
